(November 2020)
This photo really makes me think.
Senior Software Developer or an Escapee from the Looney Bin
I promise I look a little better now.
I'm not saying I look good, just better than this.
The Motorcycle
Back in 2017, I got to thinking that I might really enjoy riding a Motorcycle.
My Father has been riding a Motorcycle for over 10 Years and he really loves it. I figured if nothing else, it could be something that we could do together.
So my 73 Year Old Father taught his 46 Year Old Son how to ride a Motorcycle. Talk about responsible Parenting. To be fair, I was told to take the Motorcycle Training & Licensing Course.
The Guitar
In 2020, while recovering after an Injury which required Surgery, I decided it was time to try to learn how to play the Guitar, again. I had a lot of time on my hands and I couldn't really get around much, so it just seemed like the perfect time.
Technically, I played during High School, but I never bothered to learn any Music Theory so I had no idea what I was doing. I could only play parts of a couple Songs.
I have learned a lot and have gotten a lot better. It all makes a lot more sense to me now. That being said I still have so much to learn and figure out.
Flying a Drone
I have always loved Arial Photography/Videography but never thought it could be something I could take up as a Hobby.
Thanks to my Folks and Brother who bought me a DJI Mini 2 Drone for my 50th Birthday, I have started to get into it.
There is way more to it than I first thought. Plus, in my head all I see is me crashing it right away and putting the kibosh on the whole thing.
Fishing
Believe it or not this Muskie was either 50 lbs and 55 inches or 55 lbs and 50 inches (I can't remember which) and was caught in Lake Ontario near the mouth of the Niagara River.
That day we caught a total of 46 Fish that included Salmon (Chinook and Coho), Lake Trout and this Muskie, all where at least 7 lbs. Easily my best day of Fishing ever.
Cooking
Everyone has to eat right.
So learning how to cook seems like a no brainer to me.
I went from Hotdogs and Kraft Dinner to Meatloaf, Pork Tenderloin, Home Made Pasta Sauces, Open Faced Philly Cheese Steak/Pork/Chicken Sandwiches and a whole bunch of other things. I still eat Hotdogs though.
